Ramkovski, Velija (village Debreste, Prilep, 4 ⅱ 1947) – Economist and businessman. His family moved to Bitola (1952), where he finished his secondary economic school, and then graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Skopje (1970).

He worked in several social enterprises in Skopje (1972-1990), followed by the largest private company in the SFRY “Unprococum” (Skopje, 1990), which received the Federal Prize of the Economic Chamber of Yugoslavia for its successful operation.
Soon afterwards he formed the first private and one of the leading national televisions in Macedonia Television A1 (1992). The newly established chain “Hedes” (2006) was highly established, with the reached level of over 30% market share (2007).
