Çağatay Ulusoy was born in Istanbul, Turkey, on September 24, 1990.
His mother is of Bosnian descent and his father is of Bulgarian descent. Çağatay has a younger brother named Ataalay. From an early age, he showed promise in sports, particularly basketball.
